Proclamation

A materialising convocation
of eagles talon Divinity's
streaking filaments
with mercurial wings.
Among squabbing gulls
the Holy Spirit
protests in a plaintive timbre.

Seraphim set forth
for the Proclamation.

At midnight, the Madonna
glows like a choral lamp.
Moth multitudes flit
about her radiance,
are captivated,
then perish,
dissolved in a flurry
of ashes as the Paraclete
blots his mercenary
visage goldened
in the flame of the Faith.
