be niazi se magar kanpti awaz ke saath
tu ne ghabra ke mera naam na poocha hota

 

 

 

tera ghamaz bana khud tera andaz-e-kalam
dil na sambhla tha to qadmon ko sambhala hota

 

 

 

yun to huin mujh se sirf aab-o-hawa ki batain
apne tootay huay fikron ko to parkha hota

 

 

 

tere bas main thi agar mashal-e-jazbat ki lau
tere rukhsar pe gulzar na badhka hota

 

 

apne badlay meri tasveer nazar aa jati
tu ne us waqt agar aaina daikha hota

 

 

poochta kaun hai seepi main chupe moti ko
jo tere dil main tha honton pe bhi aaya hota
