(TPS) New member (Where was I?)

Hello Everyone,
I just joined the list. I hope you enjoy my first poem.

Where Was I?
------------------
Where was I?
When the bombs fell.

Where was I?
When the sky became alite with fire.

Where was I?
When the fall out came to the ground from the rain.

Where was I?
When the survivor's started to get sick and died.

Where was I?
When the Earth's time had passed away.

Where was I?
I was on Mars.

We had been given orders,
One and all,
To leave Mars for Earth.

A few of us stayed behind,
Soon the Martians came,
Giving us maps and land.

Though we destroyed their world,
By coming and landing,
And giving them the pox,
They still wanted to help us.

For we both are a dying race,
And we must sick together.
