Heaven

This poem is a compliment to one of my pieces of art also

titled "Heaven"

Heaven

Know what it's like? The knocking...and you knock.

The bellowing thud throughout the stretches of Heaven,
First the bleeding knuckles, then comes the bleeding heart.

With eyes sewn shut you ask if it's Heaven's door,
Cold knees planted along the flowing riverbeds.

A Crimson Angel, knocking, knocking on the door,
The echoing thud throughout the corridors of Oblivion.

A door is no enrty, no way out,
My brother does not turn the key.

The silent knock on the door...the silent knock,
He wears a purple band on his knee.

A door is open...a door is closed.
For "who" is it, and who unlocks the seal?

The crimson angel knocking, did not,
For the sake of a crimson scarf.

Tear stained, the crimson snow.
The song carried on butterfly wings.

Turn the page strike a chord,
Will Heaven be silent forever more?
