New Girlfriend Today

My eight-year-old son came home from school today.
He was so excited he couldn't wait to tell me what he had to say.
He said "daddy guess what?" I got a new girlfriend today.

Then he turned red and looked away.

I just smiled because I didn't know what to say, Then he told me he asked her, when they went out on the playground to play.

Daddy guess what, I got a new girlfriend today.

Three days later he sat playing his video game. I asked him about his
girlfriend, He said, "Please don't mention that name, we broke up and I am to
blame."

So I ask him what went wrong, he said "daddy she got on my nerves she
wouldn't leave me alone."

With my best friend, she wouldn't let me play.

I said I was sorry he said it was ok cause guess what daddy I got a
new girlfriend today.
