Reason and Passion

Reason is a slave to Passion,
The two simply cannot abide,
Reason asks, "Where's the logic?"
Passion just plows ahead,
As if not hearing,
Consequences be damned,
Slowly, Reason follows
Pointing out every danger along the way,
But Passion is fearless and pays no heed,
Reason falls further and further behind,
Complaining all the while to no avail,
Passion will not listen,
Still, Reason follows,
He has no choice,
Because….
